Council offers a bursary once a year to students at Telford who are studying towards a Diploma in Agriculture, NZ Certificate in Animal Health Care Assisting and/or Farming Systems and Equipment. A panel of councillors interview all the applicants before a recipient is selected.
Applications for the 2025 Bursary are now open and close on Friday 16 May 2025.
In August 2024, the following were allocated bursaries;
- Ashleigh Coull - $2,000.00
- Drue Thomas - $1,000.00
