Youth Council
About the Youth Council
The Clutha Youth Council is made up of 15 young people, aged 14-24 years old, who live, work or attend school in the Clutha District. Of the 15, we must have one representative from each of the five secondary school's, two representatives from Telford (SIT) and two representatives from a workplace. The remaining positions are flexible and can be filled by anyone who fits the age bracket. We call for applications at the end of each calendar year.
Each year the Youth Council set their work plan which involves projects, promotions, events and the opportunity to give input and a youth perspective to the Clutha District Council staff and Council.
