Registration of Premises

Some premises are required to be registered:

• Camping Grounds
• Funeral Director [please see the Health/Burial Regulations 1946]
• Hairdresser
• Hawker (not food)
• Itinerant Trader
• Offensive Trades
• Mobile Shop (not food)

Important - Please check with council's planning, building and rating teams if you are wanting to operate from your residential address before you apply.

You may require a resource consent and/or building consent.

Extra rating charges can also apply if trading from home.
