Consumers in Waitahuna on the Tuapeka East, Balmoral 1&2 water schemes are urged to boil water prior to consumption.
This update is due to an E.coli positive test result of 2cfu, reported to Council this morning (28 December 2024). A low FAC (Free Available Chlorine) result has also been received.
Anyone using water from their tap for consumption should boil it for 1 minute before it is used. You can fill up containers at the public tap next to the helipad in Balclutha.
