Tapanui – Boil Water Reminder

Council reminds consumers on the Tapanui water supply that the boil water notice remains in place.

Water treatment staff are continuing to work on improving the treatment at the plant. However, the boil water notice will remain in place until we are producing safe, compliant drinking water.

Council urges anyone using water from their tap for consumption (including teeth cleaning and washing fruit and vegetables) should boil it for 1 minute before it is used.

You can fill up your clean containers with drinking water at the drinking water tanker located near PGG and the main street.
