LIM’s and Property File requests over the Christmas close down period
Land information Memorandums (LIMs)
The LGOIMA 1987 stipulates a close down period of between 20 December to the 10 January. To guarantee receipt of a LIM prior to Christmas, standard applications need to be lodged by 12 noon on Tuesday 10 December 2024. Urgent applications need to be lodged by 5pm on Friday 13 December 2024.
Property File Requests
To receive a property file prior to Christmas, requests must be received before 12noon Thursday 19 December 2024.
No property file requests will be issued during the office close down period of 12 noon on 24 December to 3 January 2025. Processing of property file requests will resume on Monday 6 January 2025 (with a limited service until 13 January).
Our property files have now been digitised and we now supply digital files on request at a cost of $25 per file (NOTE: 1 Valuation NZ number = 1 file). Complete our online form (including payment) and we will email you a OneDrive link to access the property file.
If you only require one document e.g. floor plan or drainage plan etc. from the property file, please email a detailed request, including Valuation NZ number to propertyfiles@cluthadc.govt.nz
Property file requests are generally responded to within 3 working days, however Council has 5 working days to complete your request.
Council will inform you of any additional costs that may be charged if your request is complex or extensive before sending the file (generally this does not apply for residential properties).
