Richardson South RWS & Kaka Point - Boil water notice lifted

The boil water notice in place for Kaka Point residents and the Richardson South Rural Water Scheme has now been lifted.

The mechanical problems experienced have been resolved, the plant is now fully operational and clear sampling has been received from the plant over multiple days. Council therefore advises that consumers no longer need to boil their drinking water.

It is recommended that consumers ensure their tanks are flushed, cleaned and serviced, now that the boil water notice has been lifted.

Arrangements are being made for the water tanker in Kaka Point to be removed.
